The Organizing Committee of Interop Tokyo 2020 - the largest ICT exhibition in Japan - has announced the winners of the Best of Show Awards. Huawei's innovative products and solutions have won eight awards, demonstrating their unique technical advantages.

Nokia announced that it is working with Japanese mobile operator, KDDI, in a joint initiative aimed at delivering a fully cloudified RAN solution. The planned lab-based Proof of Concept (PoC) will use Nokia’s AirScale All-in-Cloud BTS solution and enable KDDI to research how flexible, virtualized radio network technology can support the diversifying network performance requirements in the 5G era. KDDI joins an expanding portfolio of global customers using Nokia’s Cloud RAN solutions.

ZTE Corporation announced that ZTE and China Mobile have launched China's first 5G medical edge cloud platform. As a new-generation 5G information communication infrastructure for medical industry customers, it is the industry's first 5G intelligent edge cloud platform, employing a cloud-network integrated architecture.

Huawei announced the worldwide launch of the next-generation mass storage system -- OceanStor Pacific Series. The series delivers efficient, cost-effective, and reliable services for AI, HPC, videos, and other mass data scenarios by breaking architectural, service, and performance boundaries, and leveraging uncompromised multi-protocol interworking, next-generation elastic EC algorithm, and a series of dedicated hardware. This series marks a new standard for future-oriented mass data storage, helping enterprises fully unleash data power in the intelligent age.

ZTE Corporation in partnership with the Guangdong Branch of China Mobile, has completed the large-scale deployment of ZTE’s intelligent cloud-based 5G transport management and control system ZENIC ONE (UME) in Guangdong province of China, so as to achieve the unified management of 150,000 PTN network elements.

Huawei Malaysia introduced the Huawei ASEAN Academy, a dedicated training module set to empower digital talent in the region. In its commitment, Huawei aims to nurture 50,000 talents over the next five years, spread across various businesses and technology sectors. The academy will provide more than 3,000 ICT courses involving 100 skilled trainers to nurture digital talent.
