The award winning FutureNet event series returns to Singapore with an in-person event, taking place at the 5* Westin Hotel on October 18-19. The event will bring together the APAC telecom industry including senior level representatives from Singtel, Telstra, NTT DoCoMo, Airtel, Axiata, Rakuten Mobile, Telkom Indonesia and more.

The event is dedicated to the strategic and commercial priorities in today’s digital world and the considerations for the future of the network; with a focus on driving the agenda around ‘Network Automation and AI’, a key foundational pillar for the next wave of growth in telecoms.

Cloud and IoT are causing service providers to handle data on an unprecedented scale, which is putting enormous pressure on the network. AI offers a real opportunity to address these challenges to provide intelligent network operations and maintenance. AI will lead to self-healing and self-optimising networks as well as intelligent decision-making that will reduce delays and errors. Furthermore, Automation is imperative if service providers are going to survive and remain competitive in an ever-increasing connected world.

Taking the stage, 25+ service providers from across the region will be sharing their personal experiences and insights. Panel sessions will take place enabling Asia Pacific’s leading CTOs to dive deep into the developments of the telecom industry in today’s digital climate.

Day 1 (18 October) will delve into opportunities in 5G, edge and cloud-native, rethinking business and operating models and leveraging new services in a digital era, as well as automating 5G service orchestration and assurance. Closing day 1 is the inaugural FutureNet Asia awards where finalists including Jio Platforms, Globe Telecom, Nokia, Indosat Ooredoo, VMware, Rakuten Symphony and many more are vying to win in the 5 categories.

Day 2 (19 October) will include transforming to intelligent networks, new operating models across people, process and culture, as well as cognitive autonomous networks.

FutureNet Asia is sponsored by: Amdocs, B-Yond, Blue Planet (a division of Ciena), Dell Technologies, DZS, Infovista, Intel, Juniper Networks, Nvidia, P.I. Works, Ribbon, Robin.io (a Rakuten Symphony company), Spirent Communications & VMware
