True Corporation, a Thai telco, announced the launch of its new Business and Network Intelligence Center (BNIC), which uses artificial intelligence (AI) to improve network reliability for True's mobile and fixed broadband network services.

BNIC Capabilities

The BNIC proactively inspects network infrastructure and manages network operations for all services by analyzing large amounts of data and automating key network functions with AI and machine learning (ML).

True stated that the BNIC continuously monitors network usage, including data transmission, bandwidth utilization, system integrity, and device connections, and sends out instant alerts in the event of service-related incidents or disasters. It also provides real-time and detailed performance reports for internal network sections, network enhancements, immediate incident resolution, and OTT platform optimization.

True highlights anomaly detection as a key BNIC feature, in which AI and ML analyze real-time usage data from Thailand to detect abnormalities in usage patterns. When an abnormality is detected, the system immediately sends alerts and offers solutions for quick problem resolution.

Leading Digital Communication Network Management

Prathet Tankuranun, Chief Technology Officer of True Corporation PLC., said, “The Business and Network Intelligence Center is another significant milestone in enhancing True Corporation’s network efficiency by introducing the leading digital communication network management center in Thailand. Designed as a responsive customer and network management center, BNIC is crucial for ensuring the highest-quality service to over 50 million customers nationwide, including corporate customers, and nearly 4 million TrueOnline fiber internet network users. All these services are supervised non-stop by our engineering teams at BNIC 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, with AI acting as their co-pilot to ensure ideal service quality.”

Leading digital communication network management is crucial in Thailand, as demonstrated by True Corporation's establishment of the Business and Network Intelligence Center (BNIC). This center underscores the importance of advanced network management. This approach not only maintains customer satisfaction but also secures True Corp's competitive edge in the market by showcasing its commitment to innovation and reliability in the digital era, thereby supporting Thailand's broader digital transformation and connectivity goals.
