Accenture has acquired Electro 80, a leading provider of operational technology (OT) for resources clients in Australia, including mining, energy, engineering, construction and utilities companies. The acquisition expands Accenture’s local digital OT capabilities, which help asset-intensive companies make manufacturing and production operations safer and more efficient. The acquisition also strengthens Accenture’s local capabilities for Industry X, which helps clients digitise their manufacturing, operations and engineering.

ZTE Corporation, a major international provider of telecommunications, enterprise and consumer technology solutions for the Mobile Internet, has been included among major participants and setters of the global 5G standards for leading the world in 5G technology, patents, standards, industries, and terminals, according to the latest report “Challenges and Prospects for China's Telecommunications Industry and Intellectual Property Market” by established investment management company Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL).

Spending on global public cloud services is projected to reach $332.3 billion in 2021, increasing by 23.1% from $270 billion in 2020. According to Gartner, growth in cloud spending can be attributed to increased adoption in technologies such as virtualization, edge computing and containerization.

The platooning is a stride towards realizing the goal of becoming a world-class port. With this solution, in berth 8 of its busy Meishan container terminal, 13 5G smart container trucks run automatically and smoothly, greatly improving automation and safety in the port.
