ZTE Corporation has demonstrated in partnership with China Mobile, a 5G MU-MIMO (Multi-User, Multiple-Input Multiple-Output) multi-user performance test based on 5G commercial base stations and smartphones at Mobile World Congress Shanghai 2019. The demonstration showcases both companies’ leading positions in commercial performance.

Huawei today released a white paper on innovation and intellectual property (IP), and warned against the issue being politicized. Speaking at a press conference at the company’s headquarters, Song Liuping, Huawei’s chief legal officer, said that IP is the cornerstone of innovation and its politicization threaten progress across the world.

KT Corporation, South Korea’s largest telecommunications company, is demonstrating its technological innovations from fifth-generation (5G) wireless technology to quantum satellite communication at ConnecTechAsia 2019, Asia’s leading technology trade show held in Singapore this week.

During MWC Shanghai 2019, Huawei held the 5G is ON Summit based on the theme of “5G-driven Digital Upgrades”. Ryan Ding, Executive Director of the Board and President of the Carrier BG of Huawei, delivered a keynote speech titled Industries + 5G, Enabling New Growth at the summit.

The CEO and chairman of IBM Asia Pacific, Harriet Green was one of the keynote speakers who inaugurated this year’s ConnecTechAsia event. Green’s main message was how to make a difference to people’s lives with smart technologies and how IBM is contributing to that goal.
