Australian start-up ActivePort is collaborating with Console Connect by PCCW Global to extend the availability of its SD-WAN 2.0 solution to more businesses worldwide using the power of Software Defined Interconnection®.

Through Console Connect’s NNI solution, ActivePort has real-time access to an on- demand global network, enabling more of its enterprise and carrier customers to connect, configure and activate their edge connectivity.

By directly integrating with Console Connect in key metro areas across many countries, ActivePort is able to provide its enterprise customers with a hybrid WAN solution that offers private Layer 2 connections across one of the world’s largest IP networks.

ActivePort’s SD-WAN gateway enables enterprises to connect from the edge directly to Console Connect in selected locations. Using a local API, enterprises can self-provision metro or international connectivity across the automated Console Connect fabric – flexing bandwidth up and down to meet the changing needs of their business.

Through the same API, ActivePort customers can also create a direct, private route from their edge to Console Connect’s growing MeetingPlace ecosystem of UCaaS, SaaS, IX Peering and other NaaS platform partners in over 50 countries. This includes direct and on-demand interconnections to all the world’s largest cloud providers, including AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, IBM Cloud, Oracle Cloud, Anexia and more.

Mr. Neil Templeton, Vice President, Digital Innovation Marketing, Console Connect, said, “We are delighted to help ActivePort take its SD-WAN solution to more markets worldwide. Our Software Defined Interconnection® technology enables partners like ActivePort to provision and pay for connectivity across our global network as seamlessly as if it were their own.”

ActivePort’s SD-WAN 2.0 provides access to the latest generation of hardware agnostic SD-WANs for enterprise, telecoms providers and resellers. Businesses can connect, configure and truly activate the edge in minutes, with complete independence from big vendor applications, hardware and proprietary licencing. The solution was developed to be rebranded by customers, and comes with tools that help deploy end-to-end at a market disruptive price point. Powered by ActivePort’s built-in-software orchestration tool, it helps companies control their cloud, networks and systems in one place.

Mr. Karim Nejaim, Managing Director and CEO of ActivePort, said, “We want to help connect the world, and there is no better partner for us globally than Console Connect to do this with. Our goal is to put control back in the hands of our customers, make it simple and challenge the norms of how technology is designed to work. Our SD-WAN does exactly that, and we are proud to collaborate with Console Connect to roll this out globally.”
