In honor of National Education Day, Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison (Indosat) has teamed up with the Wadhwani Foundation (WF) to introduce artificial intelligence (AI)-based training for young talent preparing to enter the workforce.
This new feature can be accessed through IM3’s myIM3 app and Tri’s bima+ app, continuing a partnership that began in January. This collaboration demonstrates Indosat’s dedication to providing digital training opportunities for Indonesia’s youth.

According to Indonesia’s 2025 Statistical Data, there are over 7.4 million job seekers in the country, highlighting a strong demand for new job opportunities and skills. In response to this challenge, Indosat and the Wadhwani Foundation have launched AI-based digital training to help the younger generation navigate the job market and contribute to national economic growth in alignment with Indonesia Vision 2045.
In addition to offering telecommunication services, the myIM3 and bima+ apps, available on the Play Store and App Store, now serve as platforms for learning and personal development tailored to industry needs. These training programs are accessible nationwide, providing equal opportunities for young people in both urban and rural areas to improve their digital skills. IM3 and Tri will promote the platform to their audiences, with IM3 integrating it into its Collabonation program and Tri advancing it through its Generasi Happy initiative.
Vikram Sinha, President Director and Chief Executive Officer of Indosat, stated, “The youth are key to building an inclusive and sustainable future. At Indosat, we believe that no one should be left behind. With this initiative, we are committed to developing the digital skills of Indonesians, wherever they are. This aligns with Indosat’s larger goal of empowering Indonesia.”
Ajay Kela, President and Chief Executive Officer of Wadhwani Foundation, added, “Over two decades since its inception in 2001, the foundation, with worldwide presence, has focused on a simple, powerful mission: accelerating job growth and enabling millions to earn a family-sustaining wage and lead a dignified life. The collaboration with Indosat is a tangible manifestation of our commitment to create social change through skills empowerment through Wadhwani Skilling Network (WSN) and entrepreneurship through Wadhwani Entrepreneurship Network (WEN). We believe that digital empowerment must reach a wider community, and technology is key to making that happen. The collaboration with Indosat allows us to reach millions of users directly and provide access to learning easily, quickly, and effectively.”

myIM3 and bima+ users now have access to various digital training modules that focus on soft skills development, job readiness, and AI-based tools to enhance competitiveness in the job market. This platform adds value to Indosat’s digital ecosystem by offering more than just telecommunication services; it serves as a platform for learning and self-improvement tailored to industry needs. Indosat, in partnership with the Wadhwani Foundation, is working to support students in developing digital skills and preparing for employment opportunities.
The Wadhwani Foundation’s AI-powered programs, JobRise and JobReady, help job seekers find employment faster and assist employers in finding skilled talent. These programs emphasize soft skills, utilize generative AI (GenAI) technology, and provide facilitator support for simulations and collaboration.
Additionally, the Wadhwani Foundation empowers young entrepreneurs with business development strategies through its WEN initiative. This partnership aligns with Asta Cita’s goal of advancing quality jobs and entrepreneurship, contributing to Indonesia’s 2045 Golden Vision. The collaboration between the Wadhwani Foundation and Indosat aims to strengthen the digital economy and prepare young Indonesians for success in a rapidly changing technological landscape.
