Now Telecom's parent company, Now Corporation, has partnered with US equipment vendor Celona to bring private 5G networks to the enterprise sector in the Philippines.

In a statement, Now Corp announced that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Celona to expand its existing broadband telecom network by introducing turnkey stand-alone (SA) private wireless networks specifically designed for the enterprise market.

This collaboration aims to cater to industries such as manufacturing, oil and natural gas, logistics and transportation that are looking to leverage automation. The private wireless LAN solutions provided by Now Corp will allow businesses to quickly deploy private wireless networks using cloud-first architecture. Celona's comprehensive range of new NR products will be utilized for this purpose.

Now Corp's President and CEO, Henry Andrews Abes, believes that private wireless technology will play a crucial role in driving business transformation as part of the ongoing digital revolution. He sees the Philippines as a significant opportunity to deliver innovative private wireless solutions to an untapped market.

With Celona as their partner, Now Corp aims to capitalize on this opportunity by offering a top-notch private wireless network tailored for enterprise needs.
